TP Aerospace signs new all-inclusive wheels and brakes support program with United Kingdom’s (UK) newest airline, ACMI specialist, Ascend Airways, to support its existing and future planned fleet of B737MAX aircraft.
Ascend Airways has selected an all-inclusive wheels and brakes support program from TP Aerospace, which offers the most ideal solution for the airline to enjoy both financial and operational benefits via easy to budget pricing coupled with a high degree of operational flexibility and security.
Founded in 2024, Ascend Airways provides ‘wet lease’ capacity for mainstream carriers and is part of the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) group – Avia Solutions Group – representing the UK market.
Ascend Airways joins other ACMI operators in TP Aerospace’s growing portfolio. Amongst other, TP Aerospace welcomed Australian-based Skytrans as a customer earlier this year, joining the Lithuanian-based and long-term customer Avion Express to the portfolio of Avia Solutions Group owned operators.
“We are pleased to partner with Ascend Airways through our comprehensive wheels and brakes support program. Backed by our global network and strategically positioned facilities we are well-equipped to deliver seamless support and enhanced operational efficiency for Ascend Airways’ expanding B737MAX fleet and route network in support of their very diverse customer base. This collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers”, says Vice President, Global Program Sales, Philip Broskov Hansen.
“As our fleet continues to expand, we are looking forward to working together with TP Aerospace on their all-inclusive Program. This partnership supports our B737MAX fleet highlighting the importance to Ascend Airways of product reliability and with the flexibility to support our ACMI operations in worldwide locations”, says Head of Supply Chain, Alastair Johnson.
Service and support will take place from TP Aerospace’s UK site in East Midlands. The program has already started.
