On September 3rd, TP Aerospace obtained the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) approval under the Technical Arrangement on Aviation Maintenance (TA-M) between The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and JCAB.
The TA-M facilitates the reciprocal acceptance of approvals pertaining to the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components between the two authorities. Thereby, the JCAB approval enables TP Aerospace to expand its services to Japanese airlines who require JCAB authorized repair stations to undertake MRO activities.
“This new approval allows us to extend our value proposition towards carriers in Japan and thereby become a trusted partner for carriers looking for more flexible and efficient wheels and brakes solutions” says Ng Seok Bee, Regional Manager, APAC and continues “We look forward to putting the new approval to work and to further strengthen our position in Asia”
This approval is the ninth global approval held by TP Aerospace. These include EASA (Europe), FAA (USA), TCCA (Canada), CAAS (Singapore), CAAC (China), CASA (Australia), CAAT (Thailand) and CAAM (Malaysia).
