Our environmental, social, and ethical responsibility

Aviation is a key enabler of social, economic, and cultural development. Being the only mode of rapid transportation across the world, our industry is at the center of global connectivity.

But air travel has its impacts, and our sustainability efforts are focused on ensuring that we assess, understand, and take responsibility for our share of those impacts.

We’re signatory to the UN Global Compact; the world’s largest voluntary initiative within corporate responsibility.

TP Aerospace has been part of the UN Global Compact since 2017. With this, we are committed to aligning our business strategy and operations with ten universally accepted principles within human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption and to taking action to advance broader societal goals. 

Along with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, we find that the UN Global Compact provides us with a framework for a structured and strategic approach to realizing our corporate responsibility.

Reducing our greenhouse emissions by 28%

TP Aerospace has committed to reducing our greenhouse emissions by 28% by 2023. This target is approved by the Science Based Target initiative and validated to be aligned with the Paris Agreement’s ambition to limit global warming to well-below 2°C.

Supporting the 
Flying Eye Hospital

We are partnering with Orbis International in their fight against preventable blindness – a NGO that has been a pioneer in the prevention and treatment of blindness for over 30 years. The organization operates the world’s only Flying Eye Hospital onboard an MD-10 aircraft and through the partnership, TP Aerospace supports Orbis with full exchange and maintenance of the aircraft’s wheels and brakes.

  • Taking leadership in ethical business conduct to constantly promote an industry characterized by fair competition.
  • Educating our employees on how to navigate in a complex global environment to avoid involvement in illegal or unethical practices.
  • Enabling employees, business partners, and other stakeholders with the opportunity to report wrongdoings and protect such stakeholders from retaliation.
  • Uphold a policy of zero-tolerance towards corruption.
  • Guarantee that all relevant employees received proper anti-corruption and Bribery training.
  • Provide an open, effective, and anonymous whistleblower scheme.

Whistleblower Scheme

TP Aerospace acts on the principles of accountability, transparency, and collaboration, including providing the possibility for employees, business partners and other external stakeholders to raise awareness in matters of behaviors of concern.

Our Policy Commitment

Our approach to corporate responsibility builds on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, and covers the areas of human rights, including labor rights, environment, climate and anti-corruption.

Our Corporate Responsibility Policy sets out the key commitments of TP Aerospace, while the Code of Conduct – Our Shared Responsibility – sets forth the minimum standards of ethical behavior for anyone acting on behalf of TP Aerospace.

The Code of Conduct is thus a supplement to the Corporate Responsibility Policy, as well as to the company’s anti-bribery & corruption and Whistleblower policies.
